As of the closing trading session last night and early this morning on November 8th (Vietnam time), the price of Robusta coffee on the London exchange rose by 1.89% to 2.6%. The January 2026 reference contract for Robusta increased by $118 per ton, reaching $4,530 per ton.
Over the past week, coffee prices have experienced significant fluctuations, with the Robusta reference contract closing the week $108 per ton higher than the previous week, marking a 2.38% increase.
This positive news comes as Vietnam’s harvest season is in full swing, adding to the global supply.

On the New York exchange, Arabica coffee prices rose by 1.51% to 2.79%. The December 2025 contract increased by $240 per ton, reaching $8,990 per ton. Compared to the previous week, Arabica prices surged by $350 per ton, a 4.05% increase, outpacing Robusta.
Today’s coffee market in Vietnam is expected to rebound from the average price of 116,800 VND/kg before the London exchange opens.
The coffee market heated up towards the end of the week as Typhoon Kalmaegi (Typhoon No. 13) caused significant damage to crops in Vietnam, with another storm forecasted to make landfall soon.
