In early November, Toyota announced its October sales results, delivering 8,000 vehicles (including Lexus) to customers, marking the highest sales figure of the year. Models under promotion saw significant growth, notably the Camry with 299 units sold, a 151-unit increase from the previous month. Recognizing price as a primary barrier for many customers, Toyota extended a 100% tax rebate for November purchases, leading to increased interest, test drives, and bookings for the Camry.
Minh Khôi, a tech company CEO in Saigon, adheres to a core principle: unwavering values. This applies to both work and personal decisions, such as choosing a vehicle. He reflects, “In a volatile business environment, I need a solid foundation.”
Timely Decision
While considering the new Camry models, Khôi realized that sustainable success requires responsibility and efficiency. This led him to the Hybrid Electric version. The Camry 2.5 HEV MID retains its timeless elegance and reliability, now enhanced with advanced Hybrid Electric technology—a forward-thinking choice.
“The Camry Hybrid not only saves fuel but also demonstrates corporate social and environmental responsibility,” Khôi notes. “Driving an HEV to meetings subtly communicates a commitment to sustainability.”
The 2.5HEV’s core distinction lies in its technology. The gasoline engine and electric motor combination ensures smooth, quiet operation, especially in urban settings.
“The near-silent start and low-speed operation provide a tranquil space for thinking, resting, or reviewing documents en route,” Khôi observes.
Khôi highlights the 2.5HEV MID’s value proposition: “It offers premium features like Toyota Safety Sense and a luxurious interior at a reasonable 1.46 billion VND—a balance of technology, comfort, and value.”
Khôi’s financial acumen helped him secure the vehicle during October’s tax rebate promotion, saving up to 73 million VND on the HEV MID.

Young customers appreciate the Camry HEV MID’s eco-friendly design and practical dealership support.
In November, Toyota extended a 100% tax rebate for all Camry versions, with maximum savings of 153 million VND for the HEV TOP, 146 million VND for the HEV MID, and 122 million VND for the 2.0Q. Additionally, Toyota Financial Services offers a 1.49% fixed interest rate for the first 6 months on Camry HEV loans, combinable with the tax rebate.
The blend of reliability, advanced Hybrid Electric technology, and attractive promotions helped Khôi and others optimize their investment, owning a prestigious, eco-conscious vehicle aligned with modern mobility trends.
Camry – A Lifestyle Statement
For Khôi and many Vietnamese, the Toyota Camry transcends being just a car; it symbolizes proven success. It embodies stability, enduring achievement, and trustworthiness.
Despite new entrants in the D-segment sedan market, the Camry maintains its leadership without fanfare. Its decades-long reputation remains unmatched.
“I considered numerous models, focusing on the value they offer,” Khôi shares. “I recall a friend arriving at a meeting in a Camry. Everyone, including me, recognized him as someone valuing core principles, stability, and long-term commitment—qualities sought in a partner. That’s when I was impressed by the Camry.”
