Following the successful issuance, Century Fiber’s outstanding shares increased from over 96.6 million to more than 140.1 million, raising its chartered capital from nearly VND 966.4 billion to over VND 1,401.2 billion.

In other developments, Century Fiber previously announced decisions from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department regarding tax obligations.

Specifically, Decision No. 3719/QĐ-XPHC dated November 3, 2025, from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, stated that Century Fiber had incorrectly declared and used illegal invoices, leading to an increase in value-added tax refunds, underpayment of corporate income tax, and incorrect declarations without underpayment of value-added tax, as outlined in Articles 103.1, 103.3, and 103.4 of the Tax Administration Law dated November 29, 2006.

Due to the statute of limitations, Century Fiber was not fined for these violations. However, the company must rectify the issue by paying over VND 222.8 million in back taxes.

Additionally, the company must pay nearly VND 157.7 million in late payment penalties, calculated up to October 28, 2025. Century Fiber is responsible for calculating and paying any additional late fees from this date until the actual payment of back taxes to the state budget.

Thus, the total amount Century Fiber must pay, including back taxes and late fees, is approximately VND 380.5 million.

Furthermore, according to Decision No. 11348/QĐ-TPHCM dated November 3, 2025, from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, Century Fiber must pay nearly VND 36.4 million in tax refunds and approximately VND 27.3 million in late payment penalties as of October 28, 2025.
