Individuals or organizations (vehicle owners) who have transferred, exchanged, or gifted vehicles but have not completed the registration certificate and license plate revocation procedures should proactively visit the nearest local police station to provide transaction details (time, buyer’s information, related documents) to update the vehicle’s ownership status.
This ensures the protection of the legal rights and interests of the vehicle owner and prevents legal risks if the sold vehicle is involved in traffic violations, accidents, or other incidents.

Individuals or organizations that have purchased vehicles but have not completed the ownership transfer procedures should promptly visit the nearest vehicle registration office for guidance on the transfer process, trace the original owner, and declare the legal origin of the vehicle.
Completing the transfer procedures ensures the rights and interests of the current vehicle user, avoids disputes or complaints, and prevents the vehicle from being marked as “inactive” on the registration system if the owner cannot be verified.
Important Notes:
– Do not buy, sell, or accept transfers of vehicles with unclear origins, without registration certificates, or with signs of document forgery.
– During transactions, ensure the transfer of vehicle ownership documents as required, complete the revocation of registration certificates and license plates within 30 days, and transfer the vehicle ownership as prescribed.
