The Lien Phuong Road (Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) stretches from its starting point at The Global City project to its endpoint connecting to Mai Chi Tho – Vo Nguyen Giap Boulevard. This 660-meter road, designed for speeds up to 60 km/h and a width of 60 meters, officially opened on November 8th. It includes a bridge over the Muong Kinh canal, providing direct access to the Rach Chiec National Sports Complex.

This new route significantly reduces travel time from the Lien Phuong – Do Xuan Hop intersection to the Cat Lai junction, easing congestion at key intersections like An Phu, Binh Thai, and MK.

The completion of the Lien Phuong Road section connects the entire 6.7km Lien Phuong route, running from Nguyen Duy Trinh Street through The Global City. This transformation reshapes traffic flow in the eastern gateway of the city.

The newly opened Lien Phuong Road section completes the 6.7km Lien Phuong route.

With the Lien Phuong Road operational, residents of Thao Dien and An Khanh Ward can reach The Global City in just 5 minutes. Travel from Thu Thiem or the city center takes only 10 minutes. Eastern district residents now enjoy quicker access to the HCMC – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway, the future Long Thanh Airport, and major industrial zones in Dong Nai and Binh Duong.

The most scenic stretch of the road passes through Global City.

The Lien Phuong Road’s enhanced connectivity plays a pivotal role in restructuring the region’s transportation network. The notorious An Phu intersection, where Mai Chi Tho and Hanoi Highway meet, was once a major bottleneck. Now, with this new road, Thu Duc City emerges as a true economic gateway.

The Lien Phuong Road’s superior connectivity is key to reshaping the area’s transportation network.

Transportation experts highlight that the opening of the Lien Phuong Road not only improves traffic flow but also stimulates the already thriving real estate market in the eastern district. As a vital artery connecting key areas, the road addresses congestion while unlocking new opportunities in the property sector.

As a critical link between key areas, the road opens up new possibilities for the real estate market.
