FLC Deputy General Director Appointed as Chairman of Bamboo Airways

Bamboo Airways has announced the appointment of Mr. Bùi Quang Dũng as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, succeeding Mr. Lê Thái Sâm, effective November 12, 2025.

This move comes as Bamboo Airways officially returns to the direct management of the FLC Group.

Mr. Bùi Quang Dũng holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Columbia University (USA) and boasts over 15 years of experience in investment management and real estate. Prior to his appointment as Chairman, he served as Deputy General Director of FLC, Vice Chairman of the Board, and Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lê Thái Sâm will continue his role as a Board Member.

The current Bamboo Airways Board of Directors consists of six members: Mr. Bùi Quang Dũng, Mr. Lê Thái Sâm, Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Trọng, Mr. Lê Bá Nguyên, Mr. Trương Phương Thành, and Ms. Phùng Thị Thu Thảo.

During the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on November 11th, the FLC Group announced its collaboration with domestic and international partners specializing in aircraft leasing and finance. The goal is to explore cooperative solutions and raise investment capital for the airline.

Bamboo Airways aims to restructure its operations, expand its fleet, and broaden its route network by 2030. In the short term, the airline plans to acquire an additional aircraft to meet the increased demand during the end of 2025 and expects to add more planes before the 2026 Lunar New Year.
