Khánh Hòa Man Wins Nearly 134 Billion VND After Purchasing the Same Lottery Numbers for 2 Years

On the evening of November 12th, a representative from Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) announced the awarding of the Mega 6/45 jackpot from draw 1,422, valued at nearly 134 billion VND, to Mr. N.C.L. (residing in Khanh Hoa).

Mr. L., a Mobifone subscriber, won the massive prize with the winning numbers: 05-11-12-24-28-44. After deducting personal income tax, he will receive over 120 billion VND.

The jackpot winner shared that he is a self-employed businessman living in Khanh Hoa. He regularly purchases lottery tickets for Mega 6/45 and Power 6/55, typically buying three sets of numbers daily for luck.

He has a habit of using his birthdate and vehicle license plate numbers to create his lottery combinations. He has been playing this particular set of numbers for two consecutive years and has now hit the jackpot. Upon receiving the good news, he immediately informed his wife.

Given the substantial winnings, Mr. L. plans to manage his spending wisely to avoid disrupting his family’s life. He has allocated 1.6 billion VND to support social welfare programs through the Tam Tai Viet Fund.

On November 9th, Vietlott also identified the winner of the Lotto 5/35 jackpot, valued at over 21 billion VND, who is a customer from Ho Chi Minh City.

In draw 266 of Lotto 5/35, the winning numbers were 06-07-20-23-34, with a special number of 03. After tax deductions, the winner will receive over 19.2 billion VND.

Previously, on October 21st, Vietlott awarded the Power 6/55 Jackpot 1 from draw 1,249, valued at over 179 billion VND, to Mr. N.V.H. (residing in Da Nang), who played the numbers 17-23-34-39-46-52. After deducting over 17.9 billion VND in personal income tax (10% of the amount exceeding 10 million VND), he received over 161 billion VND.

Mr. H., a teacher, mentioned that he frequently buys lottery tickets at a store in An Hai Ward, Da Nang, and has won smaller prizes in the past.

Regarding his plans for the winnings, the teacher stated he has a well-thought-out spending plan for the future. During the award ceremony, he donated 2.5 billion VND from his prize to the Tam Tai Viet Fund for social welfare activities.
