According to the Dong Nai Provincial Project Management Board, the upgrade and expansion project of Provincial Road 769 spans nearly 30 kilometers. The project begins at the intersection with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay Junction (Dau Giay Commune) and ends at the intersection with National Highway 51 at Loc An Junction, Long Thanh Commune.
Provincial Road 769 is set for upgrade and expansion
The project is divided into four segments. Segments 1, 3, and 4 will be developed with a capacity of 6 motor vehicle lanes and 2 mixed-use lanes. Segment 2 will feature 6 motor vehicle lanes exclusively.
The primary goal of this project is to enhance connectivity and reduce travel time from localities within the province and neighboring provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central regions to Long Thanh International Airport.
This initiative aims to meet growing transportation demands, alleviate traffic on National Highway 1, and foster socio-economic development in the regions traversed by the road, particularly in Dong Nai Province and the Southern Key Economic Region.
With a total investment of nearly VND 5.9 trillion, the project includes over VND 3 trillion allocated for compensation, resettlement, and land clearance. The project will be implemented across Dau Giay, Binh An, and Long Thanh communes, requiring the reclamation of over 134 hectares of land.
Regarding land reclamation, compensation, and clearance, the Project Management Board has handed over the land clearance boundaries to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for execution.
