Phú Xuân Social Housing Project: A New Dawn for Affordable Living in Hưng Yên.
The People’s Committee of Hưng Yên Province recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Phú Xuân Social Housing Project, located in the planned residential area of Phú Xuân, Trần Hưng Đạo Ward.
Developed by Damsan Joint Stock Company, this project spans nearly 1.3 hectares with a total investment of 680 billion VND. It is part of the 20% land fund allocated for social housing within the 10.5-hectare Phú Xuân Urban Area.
The project features two 15-story buildings with one basement, offering a total construction area of over 58,000 m². It will provide 546 social housing units and 36 commercial service apartments, along with integrated social infrastructure including schools, cultural centers, sports facilities, green parks, commercial services, and parking systems.
Upon completion, the project is expected to accommodate approximately 1,800 residents, primarily targeting workers, low-income earners, policy beneficiaries, and young families.
Construction contractors mobilize machinery, ready to commence work post-groundbreaking.
Since early November, Hưng Yên Province has been actively advancing social housing initiatives. The province is currently seeking investors for two major projects in Việt Tiến and Nghĩa Trụ communes, with a combined investment of over 19.76 trillion VND.
The first project, located in Zone B of the former Văn Giang East Urban Area, has an estimated investment of 12.1 trillion VND. Covering 28.3 hectares in Nghĩa Trụ and Phụng Công communes, it will include two 36-story mixed-use buildings, 44 villas, and 406 townhouses. Additionally, the development will feature two 9-story social housing buildings and two 5-story commercial service buildings, catering to a projected population of 9,400.
The second project, Tân Tiến Urban Area (Ecoland City) in Việt Tiến commune, boasts an investment of nearly 7.661 trillion VND. Spanning 66 hectares, it is designed to house approximately 9,800 residents. The project will comprise 780 townhouses, 546 villas, an 18-story mixed-use building, two 9-story social housing buildings, and two 3-story commercial service buildings. It will also include educational facilities from kindergarten to middle school, cultural and healthcare amenities.
Central Bank Boosts Credit Limit for Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries to VND 185 Trillion
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has recently announced an expansion of its credit program for the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors, increasing the total funding to VND 185 trillion. This initiative will be implemented through commercial banks, offering loans at interest rates 1-2% lower than the average market rate.
