The Da Nang Department of Finance has announced the liquidation of assets via a public auction for 5 passenger vehicles that have exceeded their operational lifespan and are no longer permitted on public roads.

According to the announcement, the 5 Toyota Hiace vans, manufactured between 1999 and 2003, are priced between 14.8 million VND and 15.2 million VND, excluding value-added tax.

Da Nang City is liquidating 5 government vehicles that have reached the end of their service life.

These assets are part of the vehicle recovery list, to be liquidated as per the decision issued in September by the Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee.

Previously, these vehicles were managed by the Dermatology Hospital, the former Hoa Vang District Health Center, the Research and Training Center for Integrated Circuits and Artificial Intelligence under the Management Board of the High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, the City Guesthouse, and Le Quy Don High School.

The asset inspection and related documentation review will take place during office hours from November 10 to 17 at the Department of Finance, located in the City Administrative Center on Tran Phu Street.

The public auction will be held at 2 PM on November 19 at the Department of Finance. The selection of the buyer will be conducted immediately after the auction concludes, with a confirmation record signed by all involved parties.

In April, the Da Nang People’s Committee also approved the starting prices for the auction of 10 surplus government vehicles, ranging from over 14 million VND to over 470 million VND. The sale of surplus government vehicles aims to optimize the use of public assets and increase budget revenue.
