From October 27 to November 17, 2025, a fundraising campaign was launched to support medical expenses, surgeries, and rehabilitation for children with lower limb disabilities. In just 10 days, the target of 4.2 billion VND (equivalent to 421,950 km or 10,000 full marathons) was achieved. Each kilometer run was converted into a 10,000 VND donation to the Touch of Love Fund, with over 21,000 participants and more than 800 running teams and clubs across the country joining the cause.

Every Kilometer Run Ignites a New Hope

As the 8th season of the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon approaches, the atmosphere is buzzing with excitement. On the streets, in parks, under the morning sun, and as the sunset fades, tens of thousands of runners are tirelessly training for the big day on December 7. Whether seasoned runners or newcomers, all share a common goal: to help children with disabilities walk on their own feet.

Lower limb disabilities can severely limit a child’s mobility, hinder physical development, and make it difficult to integrate into school life. Many cases can be cured with early medical intervention, but not all children have access to treatment. The longer the delay, the harder the recovery journey becomes.

This year, alongside the main marathon, Techcombank introduced an online running event, “Run for a Superior Vietnam,” allowing anyone, anywhere, to be part of this meaningful journey. Every step, every kilometer, is a gesture of love for these less fortunate children.

The initiative quickly gained momentum among the sports-loving community—individuals who believe in health, positive lifestyles, and social impact. Elite runners like Khôi Huỳnh, Phạm Tiến Sản, and Nguyễn Văn Khang, along with prominent running clubs such as Hòa Bình Park Runner (Hanoi), VNG Running Club, Danang Runners, and SRC – Saigon Running Club, have all joined forces to support this cause.

When the Heart Beats for Others, the Run Becomes Stronger

Ms. Thái Minh Diá»…m Tú, Marketing Director of Techcombank, shared: “We start running to become healthier. But as we run, we realize that every stride can create value for the community. The online running event, part of the 8th Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon, collaborates with the Touch of Love Fund to spread a message of positivity, connection, and sharing, building a healthier and more superior Vietnam.”

Launched in October 2025, with pioneering sponsorship from Techcombank and its ecosystem, including Masterise Group, One Mount, and the Touch of Love Charity Fund, a new digital volunteering platform has emerged. This platform marks the beginning of a modern, transparent, and sustainable charitable journey.

With the vision to become Vietnam’s leading digital volunteering platform, Touch of Love aims to connect, empower, and spread positivity. It not only provides material support but also builds trust and encourages a culture of sharing, enabling every Vietnamese to “touch” love and ensuring love “touches” everyone.

Every completed kilometer is a message—a testament that together, we can achieve miracles, turning each stride into a beacon of hope for children in need of support.

And on this journey, Techcombank, alongside over 20,000 runners, is spreading the message “Run for a Superior Vietnam,” writing a beautiful story of a healthier, more compassionate, and superior Vietnam, day by day.
