VinFast has set another remarkable record in Vietnam’s automotive market. The Vietnamese automotive brand, founded by Pham Nhat Vuong, has become the first to sell over 20,000 vehicles in a single month.

According to the Vietnamese manufacturer’s announcement, VinFast delivered 20,380 electric vehicles to customers in October 2025. Leading the sales chart is the VF 3, which maintained its position as VinFast’s best-selling model with 4,619 units sold. Since the beginning of the year, the VF 3 has sold a total of 36,005 units, solidifying its status as Vietnam’s “national car.”

Closely following is the VF 5, a cost-effective and efficient model, with 4,450 units delivered in October, bringing the year-to-date total to 35,406. The VF 6, with 2,524 units sold in October and a cumulative total of 16,949, continues to dominate the B-segment SUV market in Vietnam.

The VF 7 also had an impressive month, with 1,190 units sold, raising its year-to-date total to 7,067. Meanwhile, the VinFast VF 9 recorded 1,477 units sold since the beginning of the year.

In the commercial vehicle segment, the 7-seater Limo Green MPV continues to captivate customers, with 4,160 units delivered in October 2025. In just three months, 6,504 Limo Green vehicles have reached customers, positioning it as a key growth driver for the Vietnamese automaker.

The Herio Green also performed well, with 2,920 units sold in October, bringing the year-to-date total to 11,524.

This robust growth across all segments has secured VinFast’s leading market share in Vietnam for the 12th consecutive month. With the final two months of the year expected to be peak sales periods, VinFast is poised to set new sales records.

“Selling over 20,000 vehicles in October and surpassing 124,000 units in 10 months are unprecedented achievements in Vietnam’s automotive market, reflecting strong customer trust and support for electric vehicles, particularly VinFast,” said Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Sales and Marketing at VinFast.

In fact, VinFast’s monthly sales of over 20,000 units rival the annual sales of many other automakers in Vietnam. Previously, the Vietnamese brand had set records with annual sales exceeding 10,000 units, and now it has surpassed 20,000 units in a single month.
