The VF 3 remains the top-selling model, with 4,619 units delivered in October, bringing its cumulative sales to 36,005. Closely following is the VF 5, with 4,450 units sold in October, totaling 35,406 since the beginning of the year.

The VF 6 also achieved impressive results, selling 2,524 units in October, with a ten-month total of 16,949 vehicles.

In the higher segment, the VF 7 recorded 1,190 units in October, accumulating 7,067 sales, while the premium SUV VF 9 reached 1,477 units in the same period.

Electric vehicles serving diverse purposes

Notably, the commercial EV segment experienced rapid growth. The Limo Green, a 7-seater MPV, sold 4,160 units in October alone, with a total of 6,504 units delivered since its launch three months ago.

Introduced in early 2025, the VinFast Limo Green targets large families and premium transportation services. Priced at 749 million VND, it offers a 100% exemption from registration fees as an electric vehicle.

With a wheelbase of 2,840mm, the Limo Green rivals mid-sized MPVs like the Toyota Innova Cross, offering more space than compact MPVs such as the Xpander (2,775mm). Positioned between the VF6 (689 million VND) and VF7 (799 million VND), it strikes a balance between cost and features.

Meanwhile, the Herio Green, designed for urban transportation services, delivered 2,920 units in October, totaling 11,524 units since the start of the year.

In the final two months of the year, VinFast plans to launch and deliver two new models: the EC Van (small electric truck) and Minio Green (urban mini car), expanding its product lineup to meet diverse customer needs.

The Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) reported October sales of 37,910 vehicles, a 24% increase from September but a 2% decrease compared to the same period last year.

Passenger car sales reached 27,246 units (up 33% from September), commercial vehicles 10,162 units (up 6.6%), and special-purpose vehicles 502 units (down 15%). Locally assembled vehicles accounted for 17,129 units (up 19%), while imported vehicles totaled 20,781 units (up 25%).
