CT Group announces that CT UAV has partnered with SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance), a leading Swiss corporation, to implement the AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality management standards across its headquarters and five manufacturing facilities.
SGS, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, is recognized as the world’s quality gatekeeper. With over 145 years of experience, SGS operates in more than 140 countries, maintains over 2,600 offices and laboratories, and employs over 98,000 professionals. The company reported revenues of 6.79 billion Swiss francs in 2024 (approximately 8.43 billion USD) and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. As a trusted partner to thousands of corporations in aerospace, energy, and high-tech industries, SGS sets the benchmark for quality assurance.
Ms. Nguyễn Thị Nam Trân, Regional Director of Business Assurance Solutions at SGS Indonesia & Vietnam, remarked, “AS9100D is an exceptionally rigorous standard, demanding global synchronization in management and human resources. We commend CT UAV’s commitment to adopting international standardization, a pathway to sustainable value.”

AS9100D, developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), is a globally recognized quality management system standard. It mandates risk management, material traceability, supply chain oversight, and high-level product safety. However, its true value is realized only when certified by SGS, the world’s most prestigious evaluator.
ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management systems, applicable to all business types. ISO 9001 certification requires standardized processes, quality control, management performance evaluation, and continuous improvement. For CT UAV, ISO 9001 not only strengthens its quality management foundation but also serves as a prerequisite for AS9100D implementation, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compliance with international standards across research, design, and production.
SGS representatives anticipate that CT UAV will become Vietnam’s first UAV company to achieve AS9100D certification across its entire production system. Full implementation is expected within 6 to 12 months, setting a benchmark for domestic companies to adopt international aerospace quality management practices.
CT UAV’s headquarters are located at 20 Trương Định, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. The company has established five UAV manufacturing plants at the CT Group Digital Technology Complex – CT High-tech R&D Center in Thuận An (on DT743 Avenue, near Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) to meet the surging global demand for UAVs. CT UAV is also investing in the ASEAN Super Head Quarter, a world-class UAV technology complex in Hưng Thuận, Tây Ninh Province, comparable to leading global technology hubs.

Stringent Standards
According to SGS Vietnam experts, achieving AS9100D certification requires CT UAV to meet stringent technical and management criteria, including risk management throughout the product lifecycle, technical change control, material traceability, flight safety assurance, and first article inspection. ISO 9001 serves as the foundation, standardizing these processes to ensure an efficient, transparent, and continuously improving quality management system.
With support from SGS, the dedication of CT UAV’s team, and the backing of CT Group, achieving AS9100D and ISO 9001 certification will mark a significant milestone. For the first time, a Vietnamese UAV company will meet international aerospace standards, setting the stage for Vietnam’s UAV industry to establish its own production benchmarks.
SGS Shareholder Meeting: Prolonged Disagreements Leave Investors Empty-Handed
The 2025 Annual General Meeting of Saigon Maritime Transport JSC (UPCoM: SGS) concluded in disappointment as all proposals, including a dividend plan of up to 92.5% of the charter capital, were rejected due to disagreements among major shareholder groups. Retail investors, who had attended with hopes of receiving dividends after years of waiting, once again left empty-handed.
