According to the Market Management Bureau of Ho Chi Minh City, through monitoring online business activities, an account selling questionable gummy candies was identified.
On November 11th, Team 13 of the Market Management Bureau, in collaboration with the Dong Thanh Commune Police in Ho Chi Minh City, inspected a business location in Dong Thanh Commune. The site was offering 1.08 tons of gummy candies for sale on social media platforms, with a total listed value of 43.2 million VND.

During the inspection, authorities found that the stored and traded goods lacked proper labeling, had unclear origins, and were not accompanied by legal invoices or documents as required by regulations.
Team 13 of the Market Management Bureau has seized all the aforementioned violating goods for further processing in accordance with the law.

The Market Management Bureau of Ho Chi Minh City stated that in the coming period, the unit will continue to collaborate with relevant agencies to regularly exchange information, monitor business activities, and intensify inspections and handling of cases involving smuggled goods, counterfeit products, intellectual property violations, and goods of unknown origin, especially violations in the e-commerce environment.
