Recently, VinFast brought two of its brand-new electric vehicles to a European race track for their debut. Specifically, the VinFast EB 8 and VinFast EB 12—two newly launched electric bus models—were showcased at the event, marking their official entry into the European market.

Instead of a conventional exhibition, VinFast chose the Tor Modlin Raceway in Poland, a Central European country west of Ukraine, as the unique venue for this unveiling.

Following BusWorld Europe, VinFast showcased its two new electric buses at the race track.

Public transport operators and partners from both Central and Eastern Europe attended the event, experiencing the vehicles firsthand. Poland, along with the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, is a key European market for VinFast.

Currently, VinFast offers a diverse range of electric vehicles. For electric buses alone, the lineup includes the EB 6, EB 8, EB 10, and EB 12, with lengths of approximately 6, 8, 10, and 12 meters, respectively.

While the EB 6 was recently introduced in Vietnam for student transportation, the EB 8 and EB 10 are already in operation on public routes. The EB 12 has yet to be officially launched in Vietnam.

The EB 8 and EB 12 were the first electric bus models introduced in Europe.

In Europe, the EB 8 and EB 12 were selected as the initial models for market entry. Both were also showcased at the world’s leading bus exhibition, Busworld Europe 2025, held in Belgium.

The VinFast EB 12 has not yet been officially introduced in Vietnam.

According to announced plans, VinFast’s electric buses will be manufactured in Vietnam and exported globally. Europe appears to be the first international market for these vehicles, while other electric models have already been introduced in Asian countries.

VinFast has stated that its electric bus factory can produce up to 2,000 units annually. The EB 8 and EB 12 are scheduled to begin operations next year, with deliveries starting soon.
