In an exclusive interview with Báo Người Lao Động on November 13th, Ms. Phạm Thị Huân, the founder of Ba Huân Joint Stock Company and current Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, revealed surprising details regarding the company’s tax debt exceeding 51 billion VND.
According to Ms. Phạm Thị Huân, she now serves only as the Honorary Chairwoman of the Board and is no longer involved in the company’s operations, having sold all her shares.
The company’s legal representative is currently Mr. Trần Việt Hưng, the CEO.
The founder of the Ba Huân egg brand further explained that due to the lack of a successor, she was compelled to sell the company four years ago.
However, as the buyer has only paid a portion of the share purchase price and still owes the remainder, she remains with the company in the capacity of Honorary Chairwoman to provide support.
Ms. Huân also confirmed that the company’s recent losses have led to the accumulation of tax debt.

Attempts to reach Mr. Trần Việt Hưng for comment on the matter have been unsuccessful.
Previously, the Saigon Port Area III Customs Department (under the Customs Sub-Department of Area II) issued a decision to enforce administrative decisions on tax management by halting customs procedures for imported and exported goods.
Specifically, the department has decided to enforce this measure by halting customs procedures for the imported and exported goods of Ba Huân Joint Stock Company (tax code 0304244470), located at 22 Nguyễn Đình Chi, Bình Tây Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, in compliance with the October 30th notice from the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Office 6.
The enforcement is due to the taxpayer’s outstanding tax debt exceeding 90 days from the payment deadline, totaling over 51.32 billion VND.
The decision is effective for one year from the date of issuance and will be terminated once the full tax debt is settled.
