On November 14, the Project Management Board of Construction in Ca Mau province launched a 45-day competition to accelerate the construction progress of the Ca Mau General Hospital project, a 1,200-bed facility.
The event was attended by Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, among other dignitaries.
Meaningful gifts were personally handed out by Ca Mau provincial leaders to workers on-site.
According to the Project Management Board of Construction in Ca Mau province, the Ca Mau General Hospital project is a key healthcare initiative with significant local importance.
Over the past period, the investor and construction units have consistently strived to ensure the project’s quality and meet deadlines. However, due to various objective and subjective challenges, progress has fallen short of expectations.
During the launch ceremony, the Project Management Board pledged to support and facilitate contractors in every possible way to meet their targets and complete the project on schedule.
Addressing the event, Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized that the 1,200-bed Ca Mau General Hospital is a pivotal project of great significance. It not only enhances healthcare services for the community but also symbolizes a major transformation for the province.
“I urge all parties to demonstrate determination, urgency, and accountability, translating commitments into concrete actions to make up for lost time. This project carries profound social meaning, so we must work with both heart and high responsibility to fulfill our promises and meet public expectations,” the Vice Chairman stressed.
On this occasion, leaders from the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee, and related units personally visited, encouraged, and distributed meaningful gifts to hundreds of workers on-site. These gestures provided additional motivation for workers to overcome challenges and ensure the project’s timely completion.
The Ca Mau General Hospital project, with a total investment of over 3.3 trillion VND, broke ground on April 19.
