The Hanoi People’s Committee has recently approved the design plan for the Le Thanh Bridge spanning the Day River, along with the adjacent road infrastructure, at a scale of 1:500. The project will be implemented in Hong Son and Van Dinh communes, Hanoi.

The road will connect Provincial Road 419 at its starting point and intersect with the Left Day Dyke at its endpoint, spanning approximately 2.6 kilometers.

Le Thanh Bridge is classified as a Grade III structure, featuring a width of 21 meters, including a 20-meter-wide deck and guardrails on both sides. The bridge’s total length is around 320 meters, with a clear span of approximately 241 meters. The approach roads at both ends measure 2.3 meters in length and 21 meters in width, accommodating four lanes of traffic.

The intersections along the route will be at-grade, preliminarily outlined in the master plans for Ung Hoa and My Duc districts (formerly approved). Detailed specifications will be finalized during the investment project development phase, including the construction of the road and intersecting lateral roads, subject to approval by competent authorities.

The construction boundaries for the bridge and its approach roads (red line limits) are defined based on the planned road centerline and cross-sectional width. Technical parameters, control conditions, and direct interpolation are integrated directly into the design drawings.

The total investment is projected at over 460 billion VND, funded by the city’s budget. The project is scheduled for execution between 2023 and 2026.

The Hanoi People’s Committee has tasked the Hong Son Commune People’s Committee with publicly announcing the route design documentation for relevant organizations and individuals. The documentation will then be handed over to the Van Dinh Commune People’s Committee for management. Boundary markers will be installed concurrently during the project implementation phase.
