As the year-end shopping season heats up, the demand for upgrading devices surges significantly. In the pre-owned iPhone segment, purchasing power has seen a notable increase, driven by attractive price adjustments and a more abundant supply.
Following the official launch of the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, the pre-owned market has witnessed a spike in transactions as users upgrade to newer models. The supply of LikeNew iPhones (pre-owned) has become more plentiful, leading to price reductions of 1 to 2 million VND depending on the model. Representatives from Vien Di Dong report a 25% increase in pre-owned iPhone sales in the first half of November compared to the previous month, particularly for the 14, 15, and 16 series.
Customers are flocking to pre-owned iPhone models.
Among the flagship iPhones, the iPhone 16 Pro Max LikeNew is priced from 22 million VND, attracting many buyers with its powerful performance and sleek titanium design at a more affordable cost compared to new units.
The iPhone 15 series continues to captivate buyers with its USB-C port and Dynamic Island feature across all versions, starting at 11 million VND. Older models like the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max remain popular for their balance between cost and premium experience, priced from 12.5 million VND.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 and 13 series, starting at just 5 million VND, are ideal for students, first-time iOS users, or those on a budget.

Beyond iPhones, Vien Di Dong also reports high demand for other devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 256GB (from 19.3 million VND) and the MacBook Air M2 2022 (from 15 million VND). The overall demand for tech upgrades is accelerating ahead of the year-end festivities, particularly among young users and office workers.
This growth is attributed to November being the “golden period” for purchasing pre-owned iPhones, as prices have significantly dropped following the launch of new models. The retailer is also offering various promotions for Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20), Black Friday (November 24-30), and weekend “Hot Sale” events, featuring iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, and accessories at discounted prices starting from 2 million VND and up to 50% off accessories.
