FPT Telecom Holds First Extraordinary Meeting Post-Transfer of State Capital to Ministry of Public Security

FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (code: FOX) has recently approved the plan to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2025. The meeting is scheduled to take place on December 24, 2025. The list of eligible shareholders will be finalized on December 1, 2025. The agenda for the meeting has not yet been disclosed.

Previously, the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) registered to transfer its entire stake of nearly 370.7 million FOX shares in FPT Telecom, equivalent to 50.17% of the company’s capital.

A representative from SCIC stated that the transfer of ownership representation of the state’s capital in FPT Telecom from SCIC to the Ministry of Public Security holds significant importance. This strategic move aims to ensure data security and national digital sovereignty in the new era. They expressed confidence that the Ministry of Public Security will further leverage its capabilities and create more favorable conditions for FPT Telecom to continue its growth, playing a crucial role in Project 06 on building a digital government, digital society, and national data platforms.

In terms of business performance, FPT Telecom’s net revenue reached VND 4,929.7 billion, an 8% increase compared to the same period last year. As a result, pre-tax profit surged by nearly 25% to VND 1,132 billion. According to the company’s explanation, this positive outcome stems from its continuous efforts to enhance network quality, customer service, and the implementation of various sales strategies, cost-cutting measures, productivity improvements, and financial optimization.

For the first nine months of 2025, FPT Telecom’s cumulative net revenue amounted to VND 14,287 billion, a 12% year-on-year increase. Pre-tax profit reached VND 3,228 billion, up 21%, achieving 77% of the pre-tax profit target.

On the market, FOX shares are trading at VND 61,000 per share.
