Crackdown in Lam Dong: Nine Illegal Construction Projects on Agricultural and Forestry Land Demolished

The People’s Committee of Xuan Truong Ward, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, has enforced the demolition of nine illegally constructed structures on agricultural and forestry land, where the developers remain unidentified.

On November 16th, the People’s Committee of Xuan Truong Ward, Da Lat City (Lam Dong Province) announced the demolition of nine illegally constructed buildings on agricultural and forestry land. These structures were located on plots 7023, 7048, and 7049 (map sheet 17).

According to the Xuan Truong Ward People’s Committee, the owners of the nine violating structures could not be identified. The total area of these buildings was approximately 280 square meters, with individual units ranging from 20 to 56 square meters. They were constructed with iron frames, corrugated iron walls, and roofs, and were not yet completed or in use.

The demolition process involved both manual labor and machinery, including excavators and specialized equipment. The entire operation was closely monitored to ensure safety and minimize impact on the surrounding area, adhering strictly to legal procedures.

Previously, inspections by Xuan Truong Ward authorities revealed a total of 12 illegal constructions in the area. The local government had already demolished three structures and, in this latest operation, removed the remaining nine, ensuring all violations were rectified.
