According to VAMA data, car sales in 2024 reached over 494,000 units, a 22% increase compared to the previous year, with projections hitting 600,000–700,000 units annually by 2030. Alongside this growth, Bridgestone has supplied over 10 million tires to the market, solidifying its role as a trusted partner for millions of Vietnamese drivers.

Technology and Products Leading the Electric Vehicle Trend

With a human-centric development strategy, Bridgestone continuously innovates, notably with the ENLITEN™ platform. This technology reduces tire weight, optimizes rolling resistance, extends lifespan, and cuts CO₂ emissions throughout the product lifecycle.

In July 2025, Bridgestone launched the Turanza 6 in Vietnam, a premium tire line catering to both electric and gasoline vehicles. It offers superior control, smooth operation, and fuel efficiency, aligning with the 22% share of electric and hybrid vehicles in 2024’s new car sales.

The 100th Store – A Symbol of Quality and Trust

The 100th store, developed as a Bridgestone Standard Tire Service Center, features a modern space, global-standard equipment, and a well-trained technician team. This milestone underscores Bridgestone’s commitment to enhancing customer experience and expanding its official service network in Vietnam.

Social Initiatives and Sustainability Goals by 2050

Beyond business, Bridgestone sustains community projects like “Safe Journey Home” and the “Bridges to Knowledge” program. Since 2019, the company has built 12 bridges in Sơn La, Điện Biên, Cao Bằng, Đắk Lắk, Đồng Tháp, An Giang, Vĩnh Long, and Tây Ninh, ensuring safer daily commutes for hundreds of households and students.

At its Hải Phòng factory, Bridgestone transitioned from LPG to biomass fuel, reducing CO₂ emissions by 92%. These efforts align with the long-term strategy to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, in line with the E8 Commitment of the Bridgestone Group.

Mr. Naoki Inutsuka, General Director of Bridgestone Vietnam, stated: “The milestone of 100 Bridgestone Standard Tire Service Centers marks our 15-year journey in Vietnam. Bridgestone will continue to grow sustainably, intelligently, and people-centric, delivering safe and eco-friendly mobility solutions for Vietnamese consumers.”
