THACO AGRI Targets Over $86 Million Revenue from 155-Hectare Gia Lai Cattle Farm, Eyes Expansion to 2,000+ Hectares

According to Gia Lai Newspaper, on November 18th, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, visited and worked with THACO AGRI, the agricultural arm of Tran Ba Duong’s THACO ecosystem.

As reported by Gia Lai Province’s Information Portal, the meeting was attended by provincial leaders, THACO AGRI representatives, and delegates from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the State of Idaho.

In Gia Lai, Trung Nguyen Rubber Company, a subsidiary of THACO AGRI, is investing in six rubber plantation projects combined with crop rotation, livestock farming, and processing. These projects are located in Ia Puch (2,217.87 ha), Po To (1,199 ha), and Ia Le (658 ha) communes.

Specifically, the beef cattle farming project in Ia Puch covers 155 hectares of underperforming rubber land. With a total investment of 1.162 trillion VND, the project aims to raise 52,000 cattle. By October 2025, the total investment reached 4.836 trillion VND, employing over 1,000 workers. The estimated revenue for 2025 is 2.057 trillion VND.

Following the project’s success, THACO AGRI proposed an expansion, including a 2,218-hectare long-term crop and cattle farming project. The company requested provincial support in land allocation, infrastructure, and special mechanisms.

The Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee pledged to support the company’s initiatives.

THACO AGRI, established in March 2019 with a charter capital of 900 billion VND, has expanded its agricultural investments across Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, covering over 85,000 hectares. By August 2025, its charter capital increased to 17.2 trillion VND.
