$20 Million Shopping Mall Officially Opens in Vietnam’s Most Livable City

This morning (November 17), MM Mega Market Vietnam Co., Ltd. (MMVN) officially inaugurated the MM Supercenter Danang Shopping Center in Hoa Khanh Ward, Lien Chieu District. This marks MM Mega Market’s first shopping center project in Vietnam, representing a strategic expansion aimed at creating not just a shopping destination but a modern service and entertainment hub. The center is set to boost local economic and social development.

MM Supercenter Danang is a flagship project in MMVN’s expansion strategy, with a total investment of $20 million. Situated on nearly 20,000 square meters, the three-story complex offers a diverse range of services. Beyond its role as a hypermarket, it houses nearly 50 renowned domestic and international brands, a vibrant food court, and modern entertainment areas, catering to the growing needs of residents and tourists.

At the inauguration, Mr. Nguyen Duc Toan, CEO of MM Mega Market Vietnam, highlighted the company’s commitment: “Over 90% of our hypermarket’s products are sourced from Vietnam, supporting local consumption and enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises. The project not only advances commercial infrastructure but also creates nearly 500 local jobs, driving retail growth in Central Vietnam. Notably, the center features an OCOP and Local Specialties Zone showcasing over 100 products. Designed as a Green Building, it incorporates energy-saving solutions and digital transformation, ensuring a convenient and modern customer experience.”

The inauguration attracted numerous visitors and shoppers.

Vice Chairwoman of Danang City People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, praised the project’s significance, emphasizing its role in enhancing commerce and meeting the growing demands of residents and tourists. She highlighted its contribution to local economic and social development.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi urged MM Supercenter Danang to maintain high service quality and customer experience while ensuring commercial civility. She encouraged the center to engage in social welfare activities and market stabilization programs, supporting the city’s and Hoa Khanh Ward’s development. The city government pledged continued support to ensure the center’s success and expansion of its supply ecosystem, fostering connections with local businesses.

During the inauguration, MMVN, alongside TCC/BJC Group (Thailand) subsidiaries and partners, donated 425 million VND to Danang City’s government to aid locals affected by natural disasters, demonstrating the company’s deep commitment to community welfare.
