Dien Quang Corporation (stock code: DQC) has appointed Ms. Ly Luong Hong as the new CEO and legal representative of DQSmart, effective from December 18, replacing Mr. Pham Le Minh, who held the position since early 2023.

Established in early 2023 with a charter capital of 6 billion VND, DQSmart is 100% owned by DQC.

In addition to her new role, Ms. Hong also serves as the legal representative of Quasarlum Co., Ltd., a subsidiary specializing in lighting design and landscape architecture.

Mr. Pham Le Minh, DQC’s Chief Technology Officer, has been DQSmart’s CEO since its inception. Joining DQC in July 2017, he has extensive experience in IoT and has been involved in the management of the Vietnam Smart Urban Development Alliance.

Bao Minh Securities Corporation (stock code: BMS) has set December 8 as the final registration date for its 2025 extraordinary shareholders’ meeting. Shareholders are expected to consider the dismissal of independent board member Do Van Ha and two supervisory board members, Truong Thi Bich Ngan and Moc Thi Lan Uyen. All three had previously submitted their resignations on November 10 and 12, citing work-related reasons.

SMC Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (stock code: SMC) announced that December 16 will be the final registration date for a written shareholder opinion poll. The purpose is to streamline and reorganize the company’s governance structure, aligning it with the company’s scale, enhancing operational efficiency, and meeting development objectives. The process is scheduled to take place from December 17 to December 31 at the company’s headquarters.

Specifically, SMC seeks shareholder approval to dismiss three board members—Mr. Fujitsuka Masahiko (Japanese national), Mr. Vu Anh Nguyen, and Mr. Nguyen Huu Kinh Luan—along with one supervisory board member, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung. All have submitted resignation letters.

SMC also plans to amend its charter to designate the Chairman of the Board and the CEO as the company’s legal representatives.

In late October, SMC’s extraordinary shareholders’ meeting dismissed two board members, Mr. Hua Vu and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Loan, and elected three new members: Mr. Pham Hoang Anh (new Chairman), Mr. Hoang Trung Dung, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Duy. The company also appointed two new supervisory board members, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung and Ms. Thai Thi Van Anh.

VietinBank Securities (stock code: CTS) announced the resignation of Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Thuy from its Board of Directors.

Elected to the board at the annual shareholders’ meeting in April, Ms. Thuy has resigned due to personal reasons.
