AEON Mall Set to Break Ground in Ninh Binh Province in Just 2 Months

AEON Ninh Bình is set to break ground on its highly anticipated project in January 2026, with a dedicated goal of completing and inaugurating the development by the first quarter of 2027.

On the afternoon of November 18th, at the Provincial Party Committee Headquarters, Mr. Đặng Xuân Phong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, received Mr. Nishida Shuhei, Project Development Director, and the working delegation from AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. for a courtesy visit.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Đặng Xuân Phong emphasized: Following the merger, Ninh Binh has become one of the largest provinces in the country in terms of economic scale and population. This is a favorable condition for Ninh Binh to strongly attract investment capital, particularly in the trade and service sectors. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the province is always ready to welcome and accompany investors, especially strong enterprises with significant potential and strategic vision. The province has also directed relevant departments, agencies, and localities to create the most favorable conditions for investors to implement projects in the area.

“The success of enterprises is also the success of the province. Enterprises coming to the province are also its citizens, and we always have a responsibility towards our citizens,” the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized.

Mr. Đặng Xuân Phong stated: For AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd., the province has granted investment approval for the construction of a shopping center in Phu Ly Ward. He requested the company to urgently complete all procedures to commence the project in January 2026 and strive to inaugurate it in the first quarter of 2027. He also expressed his hope that AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. would continue to survey and consider investing in additional shopping centers in Nam Dinh Ward and Hoa Lu Ward—two areas with large populations and high consumer demand in the province.

Mr. Nishida Shuhei, Project Development Director of AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd., shared that through research, AEON recognizes Ninh Binh’s significant potential and advantages for development, particularly in economic growth. In addition to the ongoing project in Phu Ly Ward, the company has also surveyed and is considering investment decisions for shopping centers in Hoa Lu Ward and Nam Dinh Ward.

Moving forward, the company looks forward to continued cooperation with Ninh Binh Province. With the province’s correct development direction and the determination of its leaders, AEON is confident that Ninh Binh will achieve even more remarkable accomplishments in the future.
