Located in the vital economic corridor of Northern Vietnam, Bac Ninh has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, with a significant surge in foreign direct investment (FDI).

China stands as a key investment partner for Bac Ninh, playing a pivotal role in the province’s economic development, particularly in trade, services, and manufacturing. This partnership has facilitated technology transfer and expanded production capabilities for the province.

One of Bac Ninh’s major partners is Goertek Group, a global technology leader established in 2001. Specializing in electronics, components, and smart wearable devices, Goertek is headquartered in China and operates worldwide.

Since establishing Goertek Vina in Que Vo Industrial Park in 2013, Goertek Group has invested over $1.3 billion in Bac Ninh by 2025, creating nearly 70,000 jobs. The company prioritizes hiring local skilled workers for its manufacturing operations.

Beyond manufacturing, Goertek is investing $100 million in a housing project for workers and experts in Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park, expected to accommodate over 5,000 people with more than 1,000 rooms.

Goertek also actively engages in social initiatives in Bac Ninh, including disaster relief, educational programs, and community development projects.

During a recent meeting with Bac Ninh’s leadership, Mr. Jiang Hongzhai, Vice Chairman of Goertek Group and CEO of Goertek Vina, expressed his desire for continued collaboration to achieve greater success in Vietnam, contributing to local socio-economic development.

Bac Ninh’s leadership recognizes Goertek as a model investor, excelling in attracting high-quality talent and contributing to technology, social welfare, and economic growth.

The province encourages Goertek to expand its investments, partner with Vietnamese businesses, and attract more Chinese investors. Additionally, Goertek is urged to continue supporting social welfare, education, and local employment.
