Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thai Binh – Deputy General Director and Board Member of REE Corporation (REE)

According to a notification sent to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE), Mr. Binh has registered to sell 400,000 REE shares via order matching and/or negotiated transactions. The sale is expected to take place from November 26 to December 24.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thai Binh (born in 1982) is the son of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mai Thanh, Chairwoman of REE’s Board of Directors. As a key executive in the next generation of leadership, he has been a board member since 2007 and previously served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for over a decade before assuming his current role as Deputy General Director.

REE’s shareholder structure is heavily influenced by Mrs. Mai Thanh’s family. In addition to Mr. Binh, Mrs. Thanh directly holds 12.8% of the shares; her husband, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hai, owns 5.5%; and their daughter, Nguyen Ngoc Nhat Hanh, holds 1.3%. The largest institutional shareholder remains Platinum Victory Pte. Ltd, with a controlling stake of over 41.6%.

REE Stock Price Movement

Mr. Binh’s selling activity comes as REE shares are experiencing a positive recovery following a short-term correction. As of November 21, REE shares are trading at around VND 67,400 per share, up over 20% since the beginning of 2025 and approximately 60% since the start of 2024.

At this price, the transaction could yield Mr. Binh approximately VND 27 billion. Currently, he holds over 10.7 million shares (1.98% of the capital). If the transaction is completed, his ownership will slightly decrease to 1.9%. This shareholding has been steadily accumulated over the years, primarily through dividend reinvestments.

The upward trend in the stock price is supported by REE’s robust financial performance. In the first nine months of 2025, REE reported net revenue of over VND 7,134 billion and after-tax profit of approximately VND 2,381 billion, a remarkable growth of over 57% compared to the same period last year.

In Q3 2025 alone, the company achieved net revenue of more than VND 2,552 billion and after-tax profit of nearly VND 825 billion—the highest in the past two years. The primary growth drivers remain the stable revenue from hydroelectric plants (Vinh Son Song Hinh, Song Ba Ha) and the strong performance of the mechanical and electrical engineering (M&E) segment.
