The Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, Duong Duc Tuan, has officially approved the investment project for the construction of the second segment of the road connecting Vo Nguyen Giap Street to the Soc Son Satellite Urban Area. This section spans from the intersection with Provincial Road 131 to the link between National Highway 3 and Den Soc.

The road stretches approximately 4 kilometers, utilizing around 22.9 hectares of land. It begins at the junction with Provincial Road 131 and concludes at the intersection with the road connecting National Highway 3 to Den Soc.

The cross-sectional width varies from 40 meters at the starting point to 50 meters at the endpoint. The project includes essential components such as road foundation, surface, sidewalks, greenery, central medians, rainwater drainage, wastewater systems, lateral drainage pipes, utility trenches, retaining walls, canal restoration, traffic safety measures, water supply and fire protection systems, street lighting, and other auxiliary facilities.

The project is spearheaded by the Soc Son Commune People’s Committee, aiming to integrate and enhance the existing transportation network, including the route from Provincial Road 131 to National Highway 3 and the first segment of the road linking the satellite urban area to Vo Nguyen Giap Street, currently under construction.

This road plays a pivotal role in progressively realizing the approved urban development plan for the satellite area, fostering growth, and attracting investors to bolster technical infrastructure. It aligns with the 2030 development and planning objectives, facilitating easier travel, production for residents, and socioeconomic advancement in the region.

The Hanoi People’s Committee has directed the Soc Son Commune People’s Committee to collaborate with relevant entities to finalize the design of all components, ensuring seamless integration of technical infrastructure within and outside the project area. This approach maximizes investment efficiency, prevents redundancy, and minimizes waste. Additionally, appropriate construction measures must be implemented to ensure traffic safety, workplace safety, and minimal disruption to local residents during project execution.
