Starting from 2026, Honda’s strategic model will be assembled at a factory in Phu Tho province. In addition to the existing e:HEV RS version, the automaker has introduced the e:HEV L variant, offering valuable upgrades for customers.

The Honda CR-V e:HEV will feature a new variant.

For the first time, Honda introduces a push-button gear shift system, enhancing aesthetics, optimizing cabin space, and providing quicker, more convenient operation. The RS variant also boasts subtle yet sportier design changes, both inside and out.

The Honda CR-V e:HEV continues to utilize hybrid technology, combining two electric motors with a 2.0L internal combustion engine, delivering a combined output of 204 horsepower and 335 Nm of torque.

Both variants come equipped with advanced safety features from the Honda Sensing suite. While specific details are yet to be released, anticipated features include an automatic grille shutter, 360-degree camera, front collision sensors, adaptive smart headlights, a 12-speaker Bose system, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.

The Honda CR-V e:HEV RS, launched in 2023, received positive reviews. In October, it achieved sales of 178 units, with a total of nearly 2,000 units sold since the beginning of the year, ranking among the top 4 best-selling hybrid vehicles in Vietnam. Priced at 1.259 billion VND, it sits at the higher end of the C-segment CUV market. The introduction of the CR-V e:HEV L variant aims to make the model more accessible to domestic customers, potentially boosting sales.

According to Honda Vietnam, the new CR-V e:HEV will be delivered to customers starting February 2026. Pre-orders are now open at all dealership systems.

Regarding pricing, the domestically assembled version is expected to be more competitively priced compared to the Thai-imported model.
