Recently, Vietnam’s two-wheeler market has welcomed two new scooter models, expanding the choices in the maxi-scooter segment (large-displacement scooters) designed for long-distance travel.

Specifically, the Zontes 368E and Zontes 368K were officially introduced to the market a few days ago. These two scooter models compete in the same segment as more renowned models like the Yamaha Xmax 300 and the recently launched Honda ADV350.

Although Zontes is not yet a well-known brand, the integration of numerous advanced technologies in its products could make the 368E, 368K, and other models from the brand a compelling choice.

Both the Zontes 368E and 368K feature a touring-oriented design, with large dimensions and a robust build, suitable for long-distance travel. However, their designs have distinct differences; while the 368E boasts a bold, angular design, the 368K offers a more elegant, softer aesthetic.

Despite their stylistic differences, both models are equipped with a range of premium features typically found only on high-displacement scooters.

One notable highlight is the 1080P front and rear dashcam, capable of recording the vehicle’s journey. The electrically adjustable windscreen is another standout feature, allowing for easy adjustments without the hassle of manual operation.

Zontes mentions that the under-seat storage has a large capacity, sufficient to hold two full-face helmets, though the exact volume is not specified. It is known that the brand previously launched the 368G model, which has a storage capacity of up to 54 liters.

Additionally, the scooters feature a 6.75-inch TFT display, supporting Bluetooth connectivity for syncing with smartphones and external devices. The adjustable handlebars, heated grips, and USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports further enhance the rider’s convenience.

The storage compartment is large enough to hold two full-face helmets.

Zontes has equipped both models with similar safety technologies. They feature front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, ensuring better braking control in various situations. The Traction Control System (TCS) and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are also integrated, providing maximum support for long journeys.

The adjustable suspension and 4-piston front brake calipers enhance stability and grip at high speeds.

The scooter is equipped with standard ABS on both front and rear wheels.

Both the Zontes 368E and 368K are powered by a SOHC single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 368 cc, liquid-cooled. This engine delivers a maximum power of 28.5 kW at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 40 Nm at 6,000 rpm, suitable for both long-distance travel and urban commuting.

The scooters use a Bosch electronic fuel injection system and have a large 17-liter fuel tank. According to the manufacturer, both models have an average fuel consumption of approximately 3.5 L/100 km. Thus, a full tank can take the scooter up to approximately 485 km.

Both the windscreen and handlebars are adjustable.

Zontes, a Chinese brand, sells its vehicles in Vietnam as completely built-up units through its distributor. The Zontes 368E and 368K are priced at 125 million VND (including VAT), with a 2-year warranty regardless of mileage.

Compared to their Japanese competitors, the Yamaha Xmax 300 (140 million VND) and Honda ADV350 (165.99 million VND), the Zontes models offer better value with superior features, making them attractive options despite the brand’s lesser-known status.
