Iconic Projects Shaping the Future

Recently, the announcement of the Hanoi – Quang Ninh high-speed rail project, slated for commercial operation in Q1/2028, has sent shockwaves through the market. Spanning over 120km with a maximum design speed of 350km/h, this project boasts a total investment of more than 143 trillion VND. The Hanoi – Quang Ninh high-speed rail is expected to unlock new economic growth poles across Northern Vietnam. Notably, Bac Ninh has once again captured attention as one of the key localities the project will traverse, hosting a major station.

In recent times, Bac Ninh has consistently made its mark with strategic national projects. Among these, the Gia Binh International Airport stands out, currently under rapid construction. This mega-project, covering 1,900 hectares with an investment of over 196 trillion VND, is poised to become a world-class 5-star international airport. As a national symbol, it will drive the new growth pole east of Hanoi, meeting the escalating transportation demands of the Northern Key Economic Region, and serving as a gateway to major domestic and international economic hubs.

Additionally, the inter-regional transportation network is rapidly improving, highlighted by the Ring Road 4 project in the Capital Region, which passes through Bac Ninh with an investment of tens of trillions of VND. The route connecting Gia Binh Airport to Hanoi is being designed with the criteria of “fastest, straightest, and most efficient,” with a proposed investment of over 71 trillion VND. Other major transportation projects, such as the Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong railway, the Noi Bai – Bac Ninh – Ha Long Expressway (CT09), and the Nhon – Hanoi Railway Station metro line extended to Bac Ninh, are also underway. These projects will significantly reduce inter-regional travel times, fostering robust development for urban and industrial zones.

Sustainable Investment, Living, and Business Opportunities

According to the adjusted master plan for the Capital Region until 2030, with a vision to 2050, Bac Ninh is identified as a key satellite city. The connection between Hanoi and Bac Ninh extends beyond transportation, encompassing the convergence of human resources, knowledge, and modern production centers, factories, and workshops.

Following its consolidation, Bac Ninh now hosts 33 industrial zones, emerging as the “super industrial province” of the North—a leading hub for production, logistics, and high technology. It is home to global giants such as Samsung, Canon, Foxconn, and Goertek. Bac Ninh is anticipated to continue leading the North in FDI attraction, becoming Vietnam’s “new growth pole” in the next five years. This will generate numerous high-quality job opportunities, driving urban, service, and housing development for workers and experts.

Another significant highlight is Bac Ninh’s ongoing construction of seven major universities, expected to welcome tens of thousands of students annually. These include Hanoi Medical University, Hanoi University of Pharmacy, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Foreign Trade University, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, Vietnam Aviation Academy, and Hanoi University of Culture. These institutions are national key training centers, renowned in fields such as medicine, engineering, economics, and environment.

With substantial investments in inter-regional transportation infrastructure, coupled with its status as the North’s industrial and intellectual hub, Bac Ninh is entering a new growth cycle. The surge in demand for housing, services, and entertainment has opened up sustainable investment, living, and business opportunities. These factors explain why real estate giants like Vingroup, TUTA Group, Sun Group, T&T, Vinaconex, and Xuan Cau Holdings have chosen to invest here.

Large-scale, modern real estate projects, meticulously planned, are not only transforming the urban landscape but also introducing a new standard of living for residents in the new Kinh Bac region. Among these is the Royal Mansion International Urban Area.

Spanning 9.45 hectares, Royal Mansion is strategically located in the new administrative center of Bac Ninh Province. Its standout features include a 5-star hotel under the Marriott International brand, a modern office tower, a 2,000-seat conference center, a complex of 171 commercial villas, and notably, four 29-story luxury apartment towers with 6-star amenities.

Royal Mansion is poised to pioneer a new living standard in Bac Ninh, a market experiencing rapid industrial and urban growth yet still lacking genuine high-end real estate offerings.
