According to the Market Management Department of Vinh Long Province, in November, they implemented various measures to regulate the production, processing, and trading of gold jewelry and decorative items. As a result, 41 violations were identified.

Upon inspection, 40 cases were resolved (with one case still under investigation), resulting in administrative fines exceeding 825 million VND. Additionally, violators were required to rectify the consequences of their actions, involving goods valued at nearly 2 billion VND. Numerous illicit items were confiscated and destroyed.
The primary violations included trading gold jewelry with unclear origins, selling gold jewelry without proper labels, and incomplete labeling.
Moving forward, the Vinh Long Market Management Department will intensify inspections and market control, focusing on activities such as trading goods of unknown origin, smuggling, counterfeit branding, and improper labeling.
