“Trigger Point” Can Gio: Crafting the Southern Growth Hub

– Recently, Masterise Group has deepened its involvement in infrastructure beyond real estate development. What drives this shift, Mr. Anh?

Mr. Do Tuan Anh: In modern urban development, infrastructure is indispensable. Expanding into infrastructure isn’t just a long-term strategy—it reflects our transition from urban development to co-creating national growth spaces.

We believe that with proper policies like Resolution 68, private enterprises can drive Vietnam’s rapid progress. This will foster more large-scale infrastructure projects, propelling the nation’s growth in the new era.

– What are the latest infrastructure projects Masterise Group is involved in?

– Currently, we’re proposing key transportation projects in Ho Chi Minh City, including Metro Line 3 (An Ha – Hiep Binh Phuoc) and Phu My 2 Bridge, connecting HCMC with Dong Nai Province. These will enhance travel between HCMC and Long Thanh International Airport.

Notably, we’re collaborating with Vingroup to develop a synchronized transport system linking HCMC’s center to Vinhomes Can Gio. Masterise Group is proposing to HCMC authorities to lead the Can Gio Bridge project.

If approved, we’ll commence construction in January 2026 and aim to complete it by early 2028.

– Why is Masterise Group particularly focused on the Can Gio Bridge project?

– This project is pivotal for HCMC’s growth and a key initiative for the 14th National Party Congress. Can Gio is at a historic juncture as HCMC embraces its “ocean-reaching” strategy.

For decades, connectivity limitations stifled this area. The Can Gio Bridge will eliminate ferry dependence, slashing travel time from over 2 hours to 40-50 minutes. It will directly link to the Ben Luc – Long Thanh Expressway via the Rung Sac junction, unlocking economic and social development for the region.

Additionally, the bridge will catalyze the Vinhomes Can Gio coastal megacity, a key growth driver for HCMC in the new era. It will restore Ho Chi Minh City’s status as Southeast Asia’s leading economic and tourism hub.

2026-2028 Timeline is Well-Founded

– With multiple large projects underway, is the Group at risk of overloading, Mr. Anh?

– We’ve meticulously planned and are confident in our capacity to execute both the Can Gio Bridge and Phu My 2 Bridge projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, timeliness, and safety.

– Despite thorough preparation, is the 2028 completion goal for Can Gio Bridge overly ambitious?

– Our confidence is rooted in proven capabilities.

Masterise Group has successfully delivered major infrastructure projects, including the Lien Phuong Road in HCMC’s Eastern District, praised for its quality and timely execution. This showcases our project management and governance expertise.

With nearly 20 years of experience, robust financial health, international-standard governance, and a growing network of experts and partners, we’re fully equipped to meet the Can Gio Bridge timeline as pledged.

– Thank you, Mr. Anh!
