Through strategic training and media partnerships, Long Châu and STADA have successfully integrated international medical expertise into Vietnamese healthcare practices, significantly combating obesity-related health issues. This collaboration marks a pivotal milestone in the comprehensive and sustainable strategic alliance between Long Châu’s pharmacy and vaccination centers and STADA Pymepharco, a subsidiary of Germany’s leading pharmaceutical group, STADA.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 16% of adults aged 18 and above worldwide were obese in 2022. Globally, obesity rates have doubled since 1990.
In Vietnam, around 25% of adults are currently overweight or obese. Alarmingly, the obesity rate among school-aged children (5–19 years) doubled from 8.5% in 2010 to 19% in 2020, with urban areas accounting for 26.8%. Medical experts warn that obesity is a precursor to numerous severe conditions, including musculoskeletal complications, neurological disorders, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. Beyond personal health impacts, obesity imposes societal burdens through increased healthcare costs and reduced productivity.

Long Châu and STADA Pymepharco conducted advanced medical training sessions to enhance clinical pharmacy practices and consultation skills among healthcare professionals.
During the event, Long Châu and STADA Pymepharco hosted a health assessment program measuring BMI, blood pressure, and ECG, alongside personalized consultations. These initiatives aimed to educate the public on “Safe Weight Loss Through Accurate Knowledge,” raising awareness about obesity risks and evidence-based weight management strategies.

Long Châu’s comprehensive partnership with STADA Pymepharco.
Leveraging Long Châu’s extensive network, the partners launched community health initiatives. Residents received personalized BMI analyses from experts, enabling early detection of weight-related risks. Healthcare teams provided science-backed weight loss advice, emphasizing physician guidance and healthy lifestyle adoption.

Long Châu and STADA Pymepharco collaborate to disseminate medical knowledge on obesity prevention and safe weight management.
Additionally, both entities organized intensive medical training for healthcare providers, focusing on weight management, obesity prevention, and clinical evidence updates. This equips Long Châu’s team to act as vital healthcare liaisons, delivering standardized medical knowledge to the public for informed, safe weight management. STADA Pymepharco and STADA Group reaffirm their commitment to enhancing healthcare quality and consultation standards for Vietnamese communities alongside Long Châu.
These collaborative efforts underscore their dedication to medical education and proactive health awareness. Previously, Long Châu and STADA Pymepharco formalized a strategic partnership to introduce European-standard healthcare solutions to millions of Vietnamese households.

Long Châu supports Vietnamese citizens in achieving healthier lifestyles for a stronger nation.
Aligned with Vietnam’s Resolution 72-NQ/TW and Resolution 282/NQ-CP on healthcare innovation, Long Châu pledges enduring support for Vietnamese health, fostering a healthier nation.
