Top Hydropower Enterprise in Da Nang Announces Critical Update

A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company (stock code: AVC) has presented its plan to the Board of Directors regarding the payment of the remaining dividend for 2024 to shareholders.

According to the proposal, the company plans to pay dividends in cash or via bank transfer at a rate of 15% per share, equivalent to VND 1,500 per share.

The record date for shareholders is set for December 15, 2025, with the expected payment date being December 25, 2025.

With over 75 million outstanding shares, A Vuong Hydropower is estimated to pay approximately VND 112 billion in dividends to shareholders in this tranche.

In AVC’s shareholder structure, EVNGenco2 (Power Generation Corporation 2 – JSC) is the parent company, holding 87.45% of AVC’s capital, equivalent to over 65.6 million shares, and will receive over VND 98 billion in dividends from AVC.

Previously, on March 10, 2025, A Vuong Hydropower paid an interim cash dividend for the first tranche of 2024 at a rate of 5% per share (VND 500 per share). The company has made four interim dividend payments for 2023 with a total rate of up to 135%, significantly higher than the average rate of 10-30% in previous years. The total amount reached VND 1,107 billion.

Since its listing in 2017, A Vuong Hydropower has consistently paid cash dividends to shareholders with a steadily increasing rate each year.

On the stock market, AVC shares closed the trading session on November 25 at VND 54,000 per share.

Regarding business results, in Q3/2025, A Vuong Hydropower recorded net revenue of VND 205 billion, down approximately 16% compared to the same period last year. After-tax profit reached VND 96 billion, down 22% compared to the same period in 2024.

For the first nine months, net revenue was VND 481 billion, completing 79% of the annual plan. After-tax profit was VND 201 billion, up 18% year-on-year. Pre-tax profit was VND 250 billion, completing 92% of the annual plan.

Established and operating in Da Nang, A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company specializes in electricity production, transmission, distribution from hydropower, and provides electrical testing services. It operates one of the largest hydropower plants in Da Nang.
