Affordable Housing Projects in Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City Now Accepting Applications

Beyond Hanoi, numerous social housing projects in other localities such as Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong have also started accepting registration applications.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, the Phuc Dat Tan Uyen high-rise social housing project (part of the Phuc Dat commercial housing complex in Tan Hiep Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) will begin accepting applications on November 27th.

The project comprises three 18-story residential blocks (A, B, C) with a technical floor and one basement. The connecting block between A and B is 3 stories high, totaling 936 apartments, with an expected completion date of June 2027.

The construction density is 37.51% of the total 11,440.8 m² area, featuring amenities such as a kindergarten, community center, infinity pool, garden, gym, and shopping center.

Currently, the developer has announced a provisional price of 22 million VND per m² (including 5% VAT, excluding the 2% maintenance fee).

Apartments range from 32 to 62 m², with prices starting from approximately 700 million VND to nearly 1.3 billion VND.

The developer will start accepting applications on November 27th, with the deadline set for December 7th.

The Hai Phong Department of Construction has also permitted Vinhomes to launch an additional 1,040 social housing units in the Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone.

This marks the second phase of social housing sales approved by the Hai Phong Department of Construction for this project. Previously, 548 units were approved for sale in August. To date, nearly 42% of the total social housing units in the project have been authorized for sale.

Construction on this social housing project began in early 2024, making it the 7th social housing development in Hai Phong, with the largest scale and amenities. Apartments range from 28.8 to 70 m².

In late July, Vinhomes announced provisional prices ranging from 20 million VND to 31.99 million VND per m², averaging 23.5 million VND/m². At this average price, the smallest unit costs approximately 677 million VND, while the largest is around 1.64 billion VND.

In Hai Phong, the social housing project in Hong An Ward, Hai Phong City, is also accepting applications.

The developer is Hong Bang Investment Joint Stock Company, formerly Him Lam Hai Phong Joint Stock Company, a member of Him Lam Group.

The Hong An Ward social housing project spans nearly 7.3 hectares, with a total investment of approximately 1.11 trillion VND, including 1.06 trillion VND for project implementation and the remainder for compensation, support, and resettlement.

The project includes 346 social housing units, ranging from 40.4 to 54.5 m², with an average price of around 18.6 million VND/m² (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees).

Applications are being accepted from November 7th to December 7th.

The Hai Phong Department of Construction has also announced prices for social housing units in the Hoang Huy Green River New Urban Area Project (Thuy Nguyen Ward).

The social housing component constitutes 20% of the Hoang Huy Green River New Urban Area Project (441 apartments) in Thuy Nguyen Ward, Hai Phong City. The developer is Hoang Huy Financial Investment and Services Joint Stock Company.

Prices for social housing units in blocks CC1A (NXH1), CC1B, and CC1C (NXH3) average 16,155,000 VND/m².

Units in blocks CC2A (NXH4) and CC2B (NXH5) average 17,172,000 VND/m², while those in block CC3 (NXH1) average 16,798,000 VND/m².

Block CC4 (NXH2) units average 16,536,000 VND/m² (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees as per regulations).
