On the morning of November 27th, in Hanoi, the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association for the 2025-2030 term held its solemn session. The event was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leaders from various central ministries and agencies, and 900 official delegates—prominent young entrepreneurs representing over 21,000 young business members nationwide.
Addressing the congress, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the business community is the primary material production force of Vietnam’s economy, playing a crucial role in the nation’s socialist construction and development. After nearly 40 years of renewal, Vietnam’s economy has grown impressively. The 2025 GDP is estimated at over 510 billion USD, with a per capita GDP of approximately 5,000 USD, officially elevating Vietnam to the upper-middle-income country group.
Currently, Vietnam boasts over 1 million active businesses, with the private sector contributing more than 60% of GDP and employing around 30% of the workforce—approximately 15.6 million laborers, of which private enterprises account for 82%.

Highlighting the economic landscape and the growing role of the business community, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to embrace a vision of “far-sightedness, broad perspective, deep thinking, and bold action,” prioritizing “time, intellect, and decisiveness.” He called for unity to build strength, cooperation to create benefits, and dialogue to foster trust, emphasizing six pioneering initiatives.
These initiatives include fostering a new generation of young entrepreneurs with revolutionary ideals, strong national pride, and a burning desire to contribute. They must boldly tackle challenges and innovate. Additionally, the association aims to cultivate a distinct Vietnamese entrepreneurial culture—“Pure hearts, bright minds, grand ambitions, and dedication to the nation and its people.” Young entrepreneurs must prosper ethically, uphold the law, and prioritize social responsibility, caring for their employees and fostering solidarity.
Notably, the congress announced the results of consultations and introduced the 8th Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, along with its key leaders. Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of T&T Group’s Board of Directors and Chairman of Vietravel Airlines’ Board of Directors, was elected to the committee.
This appointment not only recognizes Mr. Do Vinh Quang’s individual achievements but also underscores T&T Group’s role, reputation, and contributions to Vietnam’s business community. It highlights the group’s commitment to supporting and guiding young entrepreneurs—a vital force in the private sector’s new development phase.
