On November 27, 2025, in Hanoi, the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association (Term 2025–2030) held its solemn session. The event was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leaders from various central ministries, and 900 official delegates—outstanding young entrepreneurs representing over 21,000 members nationwide.

Addressing the congress, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the business community is the primary material production force of Vietnam’s economy, playing a crucial role in the nation’s socialist construction and development. After nearly 40 years of reform, Vietnam’s economy has grown impressively. The 2025 GDP is estimated at over $510 billion, with a per capita GDP of approximately $5,000, officially elevating Vietnam to the upper-middle-income country group.

Currently, Vietnam boasts over 1 million active businesses, with the private sector contributing more than 60% of GDP and employing around 30% of the workforce—15.6 million laborers, 82% of which are from private enterprises.

Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of T&T Group’s Board of Directors and Chairman of Vietravel Airlines’ Board of Directors, attended the congress.

Highlighting the economy’s landscape and the business community’s growing role, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to embrace a vision of “far-sightedness, broad perspective, deep thinking, and bold action,” prioritizing “time, intelligence, and decisiveness.” He called for unity, cooperation, and dialogue to foster strength, mutual benefits, and trust. The association is tasked with six pioneering initiatives.

These include fostering a new generation of young entrepreneurs with revolutionary ideals, patriotism, national pride, and a burning desire to contribute. They must tackle challenging and innovative endeavors. Additionally, the association aims to cultivate a Vietnamese entrepreneurial culture characterized by integrity, intelligence, ambition, and dedication to the nation and its people. Young entrepreneurs must prosper legitimately, uphold the law, and prioritize social responsibility and community welfare.

Notably, the congress announced the results of consultations and introduced the 8th Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, along with its key leaders. Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of T&T Group’s Board of Directors and Chairman of Vietravel Airlines’ Board of Directors, was elected to the committee.

His appointment not only recognizes his individual achievements but also underscores T&T Group’s role, reputation, and contributions to Vietnam’s business community. This is particularly evident in the group’s support and mentorship of young entrepreneurs—a vital force in the private sector’s new development phase.

The congress marks a new chapter for the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, focusing on enhancing connectivity, innovation, integration, and competitiveness among young businesses nationwide.

During the congress, T&T Group and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association signed a strategic cooperation memorandum, directly linking two core private sector forces: major corporations and young entrepreneurs.

Under the agreement, T&T Group will develop exclusive policies for association members, focusing on its strengths in aviation, real estate, retail, handicrafts, sports, and agriculture. This partnership aims to create new business opportunities, enabling members to access T&T Group’s diverse ecosystem and collaborate on product development and distribution.

In return, the association will promote T&T Group’s products and services among its members and facilitate the distribution of member-developed products. This collaboration aims to enhance Vietnam’s business competitiveness and foster innovation across the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

According to Mr. Do Vinh Quang, this partnership aligns with T&T Group’s commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs, as outlined in Resolution 68 of the Politburo. By connecting young businesses with major corporations, new value chains will emerge, boosting Vietnam’s global competitiveness and innovation.

“Through this collaboration, we aim to deepen our support for young entrepreneurs, creating new value chains and contributing to Vietnam’s development,” emphasized Mr. Do Vinh Quang.

Earlier, on November 18, T&T Group and Ca Mau Province signed a memorandum to explore large-scale projects in infrastructure, urban development, logistics, and energy, further solidifying the group’s long-term vision for national economic growth.

In the latter half of 2025, T&T Group engaged in numerous trade promotions and meetings with domestic and international partners, focusing on key sectors like energy, logistics, aviation, and real estate. These efforts highlight the group’s commitment to driving regional development and integrating Vietnam into global value chains.
