On November 25th, the Market Management Team No. 11, under the Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department, inspected a business establishment in Binh Tri Dong Ward. Authorities inspecting the candy retail location
Previously, Team No. 11 also inspected a food retailer in An Lac Ward. They found 3,025 packs of unbranded spicy bean sprout-flavored pho, 1,584 packs of Xiao Shu Tiao Wei instant noodles, and 528 packs of YLANG LIVE mochi cakes. These products had foreign labels but lacked Vietnamese translations, origin details, production dates, and expiration dates. The total value of the non-compliant goods was nearly 30 million VND.

Various food items lacking origin, production, and expiration details
Team No. 11 has seized all non-compliant goods, proposed administrative penalties for violations, and mandated the destruction of the goods as per regulations.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department, the food market becomes increasingly complex towards the end of the year. Some businesses, driven by profit, introduce food products with unclear origins, potentially compromising consumer health.
