Da Nang Commune Proposes $700 Million Urban Development Project

Hoà Vang Commune in Da Nang City is proposing a 229-hectare urban development project, inviting bids from investors.

On November 28, Mr. Le Phu Nguyen, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hoa Vang Commune, Da Nang City, announced that the commune is finalizing the investment proposal for the Hoa Vang District Urban Area project. The proposal is expected to be submitted to the Da Nang People’s Committee by the end of November 2025. The project will select investors through a public tender process as per regulations.

According to the Hoa Vang People’s Committee, the project has been included in the list of land-use projects for tender by the Da Nang People’s Council in a resolution issued on April 26. The city’s People’s Committee officially announced the project list on June 16.

The 1/2000-scale zoning plan outlines the Hoa Vang District Urban Area with a total area of 229 hectares. The area is bordered to the north by agricultural land and existing residential areas; to the south by existing residential areas and DH5 Road; to the east by National Highway 14B and the Tuy Loan Market residential area; and to the west by agricultural land and existing residential areas.

Within the total area, approximately 68.7 hectares are designated for national defense, security, urban renewal, completed investments, and planned public investments. The remaining 160 hectares will be open for investment, including the eastern administrative area, low-rise residential area in the west, and the central residential area.

The total estimated investment for the project is 16,222 billion VND, based on the current investment rates set by the Ministry of Construction. The Hoa Vang People’s Committee is expediting the completion of the proposal to meet the submission deadline.
