De Gi Lagoon Secures Massive Investment: Three Projects Totaling VND 8.5 Trillion Officially Licensed

Unveiling a new era of growth, three highly anticipated projects are set to catalyze development in Southeast Gia Lai's coastal region. These initiatives promise to invigorate urban expansion and elevate luxury tourism, transforming the area into a premier destination.

On the morning of November 28, the People’s Committee of Gia Lai Province granted investment certificates to three major urban and luxury tourism projects in the De Gi Lagoon area. Developed by Arque Degi Joint Stock Company, these projects boast a total investment of over 8.5 trillion VND.

These projects are pivotal to Gia Lai’s strategy for advancing its maritime economy and high-end tourism sector.

The three projects include: the South De Gi Lagoon Urban and Floating Tourism Area (225 hectares, over 2,277 billion VND); the Central De Gi Lagoon Urban and Floating Tourism Area (187 hectares, over 2,695 billion VND); and the North De Gi Lagoon Urban and Floating Tourism Area (160 hectares, over 3,581 billion VND). Implementation will occur in two phases, spanning from Q2 2025 to Q2 2032.

Addressing the ceremony, Thai Dai Ngoc, Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, emphasized the projects’ strategic importance in fostering new growth hubs along the De Gi – An Luong coastal area and enhancing Gia Lai’s competitiveness in the tourism landscape. Provincial leaders directed the establishment of a dedicated task force to streamline administrative procedures, prioritize land clearance, and expedite construction permits.

Gia Lai Province also urged Arque Degi to execute the projects to the highest standards, prioritizing environmental sustainability and long-term development. The goal is to establish a modern urban-tourism complex catering to luxury yachting and high-end resort demands.

During the event, Arque Degi Joint Stock Company donated 1 billion VND to support Gia Lai Province in post-storm disaster recovery efforts.
