In November 2025, the Ministry of Public Security launched the “Fly with VNeID” campaign to promote the use of the VNeID electronic identification app for boarding procedures at 22 airports nationwide. The VNeID app integrates electronic identification and biometric authentication, enabling passengers to complete procedures faster, reduce congestion at security checkpoints, and minimize risks associated with personal documents. The campaign is supported by leading airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, and ACV, along with a multi-platform media system spanning from urban LED displays and airport lounges to national television.
