On the evening of November 30th, the charitable concert “Southern Affection 2025,” organized by VTV9, raised an impressive VND 25.1 billion. All proceeds will be donated to the Vietnam Heart Fund to support Central Vietnam communities severely affected by natural disasters and flooding.

Among the donors, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen, Chairman of IPPG Group, pledged VND 6 billion from his daughter’s wedding fund. He shared:

“Words cannot express my emotions. I simply wish to extend my heartfelt support, along with that of many Vietnamese, to our fellow citizens in Central Vietnam who are suffering from the devastating floods.”

Mr. Nguyen was deeply moved while watching VTV9’s “Southern Affection” program. After internal discussions and approval from the Group’s Board of Directors, he decided to allocate part of the wedding budget for his daughter Thảo Tiên and Justin Cohen (scheduled for December 7th) to aid flood victims.

Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen’s compassionate gesture symbolizes unity and shared responsibility during challenging times.

He emphasized the importance of standing together with the community and fellow philanthropists to help those in need. His decision to contribute from the wedding funds carries a profound message of solidarity and communal responsibility when Central Vietnam needs nationwide support the most.

The billionaire’s message is clear: during times of national hardship, every individual, regardless of circumstance, can share in the suffering of their fellow citizens.
