Today’s coffee price update for November 30th reveals a slight uptick in the price of coffee beans in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam, reaching 112,200 VND/kg. This is a minor increase from yesterday but still 200 VND/kg lower than last week’s closing price.
Globally, the January 2026 Robusta contract on the London market closed at $4,565 per ton, equivalent to approximately 119,300 VND/kg, marking a $59 per ton increase from the previous week. However, the gap between international and domestic coffee prices continues to widen, a typical trend during peak harvest seasons.

Global coffee prices continued to rise last week
The March 2026 Arabica contract on the New York market also saw a significant surge, reaching $8,400 per ton, up by $260 per ton or 3.19%.
The simultaneous rise in both markets caught many off guard, as earlier predictions suggested a sharp decline in coffee prices following the U.S. announcement of complete tax elimination on coffee imports, including those from Brazil.
Despite the new tax policy, coffee prices have remained stable, primarily due to supply concerns. Extreme weather conditions in Brazil and Vietnam, the world’s largest coffee producers, have raised fears among speculators about potential future shortages.
While U.S. businesses benefit from reduced import costs, local Vietnamese coffee farmers have yet to see direct benefits, as domestic prices have not risen in line with global trends.
