On December 1st, Astra Honda Motor (AHM) officially launched the 2026 Honda Vario in Indonesia, marking a significant upgrade for this 125cc scooter lineup. The new model boasts a sharper design and incorporates advanced features, prioritizing both comfort and safety for riders. Notably, the 2026 Honda Vario 125 introduces a new Street version, exuding a street-style aesthetic with handlebars reminiscent of naked sport bikes.

The 2026 Honda Vario 125 is available in three variants: CBS, CBS-ISS, and Street, catering to diverse customer preferences in Indonesia. The redesigned model immediately impresses with its striking visual enhancements.

The sharper V-shaped headlight has been repositioned centrally, featuring a high beam in the middle and more prominent daytime running lights. The visor has been streamlined, while the windscreen with vertical air vents and the muscular body lines contribute to a sporty and dynamic silhouette. The redesigned brake light further accentuates the scooter’s modern and distinctive character.

Despite the upgrades, Honda has retained the Vario’s signature sporty and sharp design, featuring a flat front panel that remains practical for daily commuting.

The CBS-ISS variant stands out with its 3D Vario logo and bronze-colored wheels, available in Advance Green, Advance Matte Red, and Advance Matte Black. The CBS version offers Sporty Mint Green, Sporty Red, and Sporty Black options. The Street variant introduces three bold color choices: Coral Black, Purple Black, and White Black, paired with contrasting wheels for a youthful and aggressive look.

In terms of features, the 2026 Honda Vario 125 incorporates several notable improvements. The new instrument panel comprehensively displays essential information, including speed, distance, fuel consumption, battery voltage, oil change reminders, and ISS indicators.

Both the CBS-ISS and Street variants come equipped with Honda Smartkey, enhancing security and convenience. The braking system employs a Wavy Disc Brake System combined with CBS technology for maximum safety.

Storage capacity has been enhanced with an 18-liter compartment, accommodating helmets or other essentials. The scooter also features a USB Type-C charging port and a larger front storage compartment, facilitating device charging and personal item storage.

The 2026 Honda Vario 125 is powered by a 125cc liquid-cooled engine with eSP technology, delivering a maximum power output of 11 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 10.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm. This new model strikes a balance between responsive performance and fuel efficiency, achieving a claimed consumption of 51.7 km/l (1.9 l/100 km).

In Indonesia, the 2026 Honda Vario 125 is priced at 24,410,000 Rp, 26,065,000 Rp, and 26,499,000 Rp (approximately $1,550 – $1,690).
