FPT Telecom Corporation (FPT Telecom, stock code: FOX) has announced the documents for its 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled for December 24.

During the meeting, the Board of Directors (BOD) of FPT Telecom will propose the removal and election of new members to the BOD and the Supervisory Board for the 2023-2028 term.

Notably, the list of nominees includes Mr. Nguyen Trong Trung, Deputy CEO of Gelex Group (stock code: GEX), CEO of Gelex Electric JSC, and Senior Advisor of Global Telecommunication Technology Corporation (Gtel).

Additionally, Mr. Vo Manh Cuong, Director of the Telecommunication Service Center (Gtel), and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh, CEO of FPT Telecom, are also nominated for the new BOD term.

Conversely, the company will propose the removal of two BOD members, Ms. Tran Thi Hong Linh and Mr. Phan The Thanh, who submitted their resignations on July 16. The company will also remove Mr. Do Xuan Phuc from the Supervisory Board following his resignation.

This marks the first General Meeting of Shareholders since the Ministry of Public Security became the representative agency for the state-owned capital in FPT Telecom.

The BOD of FPT Telecom will propose the removal and election of new members to the BOD and the Supervisory Board for the 2023-2028 term at the 2025 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on December 24.

Previously, on July 16, the Ministry of Public Security officially took over the state capital representation rights from the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC).

The transfer of state capital representation rights in FPT Telecom from SCIC to the Ministry of Public Security aligns with the policy of restructuring and managing state capital in enterprises.

At the time of the transfer, SCIC held 50.2% of the capital, while FPT Corporation held 45.7%.

In terms of business performance, in Q3/2025, FPT Telecom recorded a net revenue of nearly VND 4,930 billion, an 8% increase year-on-year, with a post-tax profit of nearly VND 905 billion, up 26%.

The company attributed these results to infrastructure quality improvements, enhanced customer service, increased sales efforts, cost-cutting measures, and optimized financial operations.

For the first nine months, the company achieved VND 14,287 billion in revenue, a 12% increase, and a post-tax profit of VND 2,580 billion, over 21% higher than the same period last year.
