On December 2nd, the Market Management Team No. 1, under the Quang Tri Market Management Department, conducted a surprise inspection at the M.N.M business owned by Mr. L.V.N in Dong Hoi Ward.
During the inspection, authorities discovered the store was selling 80 used iPhones without proper invoices or documentation.
Among these, 68 devices had unclear origins, and 12 were manufactured in China, falling under the category of banned imported information technology products. The total value of the seized items exceeded 835 million VND.

The Market Management Team No. 1 has seized all the phones for further processing in accordance with regulations. The business was found to have committed two violations: trading goods of unknown origin and dealing in smuggled goods. The expected fine for these violations is approximately 135 million VND.
Market management authorities noted that the end of the year is a period when smuggling and trade fraud activities become more complex.
The Market Management Team No. 1 is intensifying inspections, monitoring, and strictly handling violations in the area.
