In the overnight trading session ending early morning on December 3rd (Vietnam time), Robusta coffee prices on the London exchange continued to decline by 2.7% to 2.8%, while Arabica coffee prices on the New York exchange also dropped by 1.64% to 1.87%.
For the reference contract, January 2026 Robusta futures fell by $121 per ton to $4,351 per ton, and March 2026 Arabica futures plummeted by $140 per ton to $8,230 per ton.
With this downward trend, domestic coffee prices today are expected to continue falling after two consecutive sessions of decline earlier this week, totaling a decrease of 5,400 VND/kg, averaging 106,900 VND/kg before the London market opens. The lowest price is recorded in Lam Dong at 106,500 VND/kg.

Coffee prices are falling but not yet a cause for concern.
Domestic coffee prices have dropped more sharply than on international exchanges due to intense harvesting pressure and abundant supply.
At the Asian International Coffee Conference – Coffee Outlook (AICC), organized by Informa Connect and the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) on December 2nd and 3rd, many delegates shared insights on the impact of storms and floods, with some coffee plantations suffering severe damage from deep flooding.
Mr. Do Ha Nam, Vice Chairman of VICOFA, noted that after two seasons of high coffee prices, farmers in both Vietnam and Brazil are in a strong financial position, enabling them to hold onto their stocks without rushing to sell.
As a result, despite the harvest season, Robusta coffee prices are expected to remain above $4,000 per ton, with domestic prices not falling below 80,000 VND/kg.
In the previous season, domestic coffee prices dipped below 90,000 VND/kg at their lowest, while international prices reached a low of around $3,700 per ton.
